Made by hand in Vancouver, Canada, by technicians earning a living wage, the Cove is sewn from a fabric of 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton. Its waistband extends from 26 to 52 inches, and the carrier was tested by women from size 0 (XXS) up to size 22/24 (XXXL). Curved shoulder straps hug your body and share baby's weight evenly; they adjust in two directions, with fit-adjustment straps on the shoulder panels. An adjustable seat width supports baby knee to knee, pleats in the body deepen the seat, and padding where baby's legs come out keeps the backs of the knees from chafing. Other details include dense waistband padding that keeps its shape over time, beige straps, reinforced rails so the chest and back clip stays put, and a hood with a zippered pocket and long straps that are easier to pull over baby when they ride on your back.
