A bolster from Coussins etc, the p'tit etc plays on size: small, versatile, good for nursing, posture and yoga.

When feeding time comes, it provides the extra support: nursing in changing positions, or a bottle. Its filling shifts easily, which lets it adjust to any build. It is light and yet very steady.

It has its place in care and health centres, such as the La source en soi centre, during massage therapy, osteopathy or acupuncture treatments.

In a yoga class it has become a must.

How it is made: 100% cotton for the main cover, with several prints to choose from. Inside, an equal blend of buckwheat hulls and expanded polystyrene microbeads (2% recycled plastic, 98% air) makes the bolster markedly lighter than all-buckwheat models. The 100% polyester pouch opens with a zip so you can dose the filling.

Care: the main cover goes in the machine — cold water, regular cycle — as soon as you take it off. No dryer: it would shrink.

IMPORTANT: because of the buckwheat hulls, the p'tit etc itself goes in neither the washer nor the dryer. Only the cover is washable.
